European Basic Arthroscopy Course

Of the various surgical training models, animal cadavers have been used in many centers. Animal cadavers are high in fidelity compared to simulators or dry models. They are inexpensive compared to human cadavers. In this course Cow knees are used for basic arthroscopic instrumentations, loose body extraction, medial and lateral meniscectomy, meniscus repair. The knees are specially pre-prepared to allow a real arthroscopic environment including irrigation.
